Terms & Conditions

DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

1. An initial deposit of £75.00 will be made to the caravan owners on completion of the booking and will be deducted from the total cost of the stay. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

2. The remaining balance of the total cost is due 42 days prior to arrival. If there is a failure to make the final payment in full, the caravan owners reserve the right to cancel the booking without any refunds and will re-advertise the listing.

3. The lead hirer shall also pay a further £75.00 security bond with the final balance payment 42 days before the arrival date. The security bond is fully refundable at the end of the hire period, subject to a thorough inspection of the caravan. The security bond will be refunded within seven days of the departure date if all the terms and conditions have been adhered to.

4. The caravan owners also reserve the right to withhold some or all of the security bond and/or invoice the lead hirer for any additional, unforeseen costs. 5. The lead hirer must inform the owners within 12 hours of arrival of any defects, inventory shortages and/or breakages to avoid being held responsible.

6. In the event of a cancellation, the lead hirer must confirm this in writing and any deposits made will not be refunded.

7. Once the balance and security bond has been paid in full, refunds for cancellations vary depending on the time remaining until the intended stay. The cancellation fees implemented by the caravan owners are set out below:

Over 42 days – Initial deposit

29-42 days – Initial deposit + 50% remaining balance

8-28 days – Initial deposit + 75% remaining balance

7 days or less – Initial deposit + 100% remaining balance

8. No refunds will be issued once the stay has commenced or if the hiring party vacates the caravan prematurely for any reason, including an emergency at home.

9. The caravan owners recommend that the lead hirer opts for holiday insurance to cover any unforeseen reasons that may result in cancellations or stays that are cut short.
